At Stepnout Performing Arts we believe that anybody can find their inner performer and develop their confidence – whether as an actor, dancer, singer or acrobat.

We’ve built a reputation as being one of Victoria’s most expert, encouraging friendly performing arts schools, where kids and adults of all ages and levels can enjoy learning new skills with confidence.


Our story

Stepnout Performing Arts (previously First Steps) was founded in 2005 with the goal of encouraging children of all ages to develop their love of performance. Since then we’ve grown into one of Werribee’s most popular schools, offering professional tuition across a broad range of classes.

In 2013, we were a finalist in the Wyndham Business Awards.

We partner with local kindergartens, primary & secondary schools.  Stepnout run programs tailored to the schools requirements and ages of students. We also work with  students who need special tailored classes for their development. From taking weekly sessions at the school or at our studio to doing choreography for your school production Stepnout offers it all.

We are partnered with WynBay Student Workplace Learning and offer a student teacher mentorship to students within the dance community and local schools.

We are proud to be part of the Active Kids through Wyndham City council giving back to students and community.

Community involvement

Stepnout Performing Arts is an active member of our local Werribee community. We regularly get involved in local festivals, school fetes, flash mobs, school musicals, local competitions and events.

We take part in the Werribee Parade each year – a great community event that kids and parents love to attend.
