What is your favourite music?

My taste is pretty eclectic but I have Spotify and it’s changed my life. I love that you can listen to anything you want anytime. There’s a playlist on there called “Tropical Beats” and its become my go-to for teaching.

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?

I love New York City because of all the Broadway shows and dance classes. It’s also an amazing place to explore restaurants and go walking.

If you could only keep five possessions, what would they be?

My phone, my laptop, a notepad and pen, a “KeepCup” for hot drinks such as Coffee and my car.

What teacher in school made the most impact on you and why?

My Drama teacher. She was a little “out there” and a bit of a “hipster”. I loved that she was individual and authentic to herself.

What was one of your most defining moments in life?

Having the courage to walk away from situations that were no longer serving me.

Why did you choose your profession?

Because I love dance, fitness, movement, art and helping people.

How do you spend your free time?

I love walking, especially in nature.

Who do you most admire in life?

People who follow their dreams

If you won the lottery, what would you do?

Travel and live in luxury in exotic locations.

What are you most afraid of?

When I go snorkelling, I hate fish touching my skin! Its a strange phobia!!!

What is your strongest personal quality?

Not being afraid to fail.

What was your most embarrassing moment?

I was working as a “swing” in the musical ‘Singin’ In The Rain’. As a swing you cover all roles in the show, meaning you need to know everyone’s choreography as well as on and off-stage traffic. I made a mistake on stage which caused a “crash” and several people tripped over!!! I felt so embarrassed!!!

What age do you feel right now and why?

Sometimes I feel like I’m 20 because I dance everyday. Sometimes I feel like I’m 80 because my body is tired!

What is a skill you’d like to learn and why?

I’d like to learn how to play tennis well.

What does a perfect day look like to you?

Exercise in the morning.

A great coffee and breakfast.

Walk my dog in nature.

Dancing somewhere in the day.

Being with my family and friends in the evening.

How would your friends describe you?

A bit silly, fun, adventurous and driven.
